If I could give it less than 1 star, I would. Nero needs to refund everyone who bought this piece of s*#!. Don’t Buy! Don’t Buy! Don’t Buy!

I bought this to replace nero 7 . About 2 years ago I bought a stand alone dvd burner from amazon it came with nero 6 . It was a stripped down version so I upgraded to nero 7 . Have been useing that for over 15 months and this week I get the message nero 7 is no longer supported and most functions will no longer work . I ordered nero 9 to replace it . It arrived in record time . I tried to instal it but each time it stopped at install Microsoft .net 3.0 x64 . Support by phone is charged 1.29 a minute from the first “hello ” so I sent a e-mail . I was sent a trouble shooting program that created a 121 mb file . This is way beyond the size [10 mb ] allow by my e-mail service . I told nero support about this and after 4 days I still don’t have a responce from them with a work around or the reason I need .net 3.0 . I have .net 4.0 installed but that still didn’t fix the install .

Got this as an upgrade from Nero 7 that I had been using for a long time to remaster my videos, Much nicer features, easy to load, did take a while, (it’s a BIG program), works well w/my Windows XP Pro, did not have to

debug, or update anything. Took a while to figure out the menu’s Nero changed some of the older programming to make it usable for blu-ray, so trying to find the types of DVD burning I wanted took a bit of trial and error, still, a good deal for the cost, and it does a lot more than older versions.

In local stores all I could buy was NERO 10 which I am certain is a great product but I wanted NERO9 which had been on my computer but was wiped off due to a virus. I searched on Amazon and found what I truly wanted at a great price. I really appreciate having options which local vendors could not provide.
