I purchased My Memories Suite because it received so many favorable reviews, looked like it had of lot of items already included and that you can make slide shows on a dvd with sound. I already own Serif’s Digital Scrapbook Artist 2 so I have the two to compare. I think MMS is a simplified version of my DSA2 program. I thought it would be fun to have lots of different ‘papers’ to play with when in actuality it’s several basic (boring) papers in a lot of different colors. I personally like more realistic looking papers and embellishments and the ones included with this program in general are not my style. There are lots of already set up albums/pages to simply slip your photos in. I prefer making my own pages so these are useless to me. There are quite a few embellishments but again they may have the same button in different colors. In some reviews for DSA2 people complained that there are not enough items and papers included with it. I really liked the selection of items in it and you receive a voucher to receive some free kits. Plus you can add your own items and make your own kits. You can get lots of freebies off the internet so don’t have to spend a bunch of money. It’s a more complex program which I think is much better. I don’t get bored with it. But it doesn’t have the media features on it that MMS does. To be honest I haven’t even tried the media features on MMS yet so the jury is out on that. If I can only use it with their scrapbook pages I may have just wasted my money. Sorry for such a downer review. I really wanted to like this program. It just doesn’t suit my uses.

I recently purchased My Memories Suite software on the recommendation of a friend. I just LOVE it, I am able to create great pages and was able to start on my own right away. There was no huge learning curve and I found it very intuitive, and things work like you think they should. You can use this program to create great photobooks and have pages printed individually either at home or any site. You can use just about ANY digital scrapbooking content in this software, not just the extra stuff they sell. A LOT of content comes with it, but you can find freebies every where to use that give you a lot of options without spending any more money. I really, really like it an am glad I gave it a try! Oh, and if you look at their Facebook page (Polaroid My Memories Suite) they have free online workshops every week to help you get started – that helped me a lot too! I am having SO much fun with this thing, and it was a great price too!

MMS is a wonderful way to preserve memories & create albums for you & your family. I am the family historian and since discovering MMS last June, I have done many albums, pages, etc., and have created many keepsakes. The ease is wonderful, and the many, many background pages & embellishments are outstanding. The few minor problems I have had were resolved quickly & professionally. Every time I’m in a gathering, and I get started on MMS people tell me I should be a spokesperson for the company. I guess I do better verbally because I can’t seem to get down on paper just how much I love and use MMS. At a recent baby shower for one of my daughters, I took her baby book that I re-created for her, as hers had gotten water damaged and the oohs & ahhs were so nice to hear & everyone was amazed at the beauty of the book. I designed most of the book myself, using a few page ideas here & there and it was so much easier & faster than paper scrapping, which I used to do & loved, but the time factor & ease of use with MMS is just wonderful. I’m not that creative, tho’ I try, but MMS has enabled me to feel creative & to get many albums done this past year, even tho’ I had a medical setback. I highly recommend it and encourage anyone interested to try it. I do believe you will love it.

I was so excited about buying this program.

I purchased this on 6/6/10 and am still trying to get support to get it installed. I couldn’t get my issue resolved by email, so I called the number listed for support (1-866-289-5168) and was told they didn’t know what I was talking about and had no such program (this was the Poloroid number I believe), was put on hold and then the CSR gave me another number for support (once she realized what I was talking about) – that number ended up being for a doctors office.

I am so frustrated with them. I am usually a computer savvy person but this one has me confused. This may be a great program but good luck if you need support.

If there is anyone out there who has had any issues with this program and worked them out – I would really, really like to know how.
