For under $50 I think I just made the purchase of my life. I can’t spell out all the plans, but I’m only using ONE of the three software products included – Keynote. I won’t use it in the traditional sense of slideshow presentation, but I’ve got this idea that I can easily make a six figure income on. So, check with me in a year and I’ll tell you how it all worked out!

80% of people using computers use Microsoft Office. But that doesn’t mean you should not use iWork.

There’s a difference in writing documents with MS Office and doing it with iWork. The latter will help you in not just writing but designing great layouts for your papers, essays, resumes and many others; instead of just the plain old MS Office way of doing things which looks dated and not really creative.

I just finished a master’s degree in journalism, and I wrote all of my papers in iWork, with the help of design tools which made them stand out and spark my creativity. Now, this will mean that, even if iWork is able to read MS Office files, some times when you fiddle a lot with pictures and fonts, people won’t have the same view when they open the files on MS Office.

That’s why if you can get away with it, you might like to save your work in PDF format, something iWork allows (MS Office doesn’t).

I recommend iWork for students, teachers and anyone who wants to make their presentations, documents and spreadsheets look professional.

I love iWork because I can easily transfer numbers to my iPad. I’m not a microsoft fan.

I am a heavy Office Suite ( mostly Excel and Word, some PowerPoint) user at work but wanted to have a Mac spreadsheet and word processor for my iMac at home. I have Office for Mac, which is less than desirable when compared to Microsoft Office for Windows, and find the iMac is fitting my need. I still haven’t learned all the features and functionalities yet but I am anxiously anticipating it. It’s a winner for me!
