This product will allow me to do the editing of pictures and videos as I requested but it wasn’t clear that for a few dollars more, I could have purchased another Adobe product which would have given me what I got and a whole lot more. I would have purchased a different Adobe product if I had understood the details of each of their products more clearly.

Adobe needs to be more clear about each product’s features as well as the product’s bells and whistles (the fun stuff). A product by product comparison of features chart would be great.

I owned the previous version of the adobe suite. Wanted to upgrade so tried out the version 8. I was extremely disappointed. The programs were slow, buggy and unintuitive. What happened to adobe ???

I can see they are cheaper but practically useless from user point of view. Nothing seems to work and it crashes on a regular basis, so what is the use of cheap product.

Bottom line, Adobe needs to reemploy the good programmers who had designed the earlier version otherwise it will lose users like us

I do a lot of photo editing and DVD slide shows, so the Adobe Photoshop Elements 8

and Adobe Premiere Elements 8 is a great product for a great price. This is the third

upgrade of the combined editing software and by far the best yet. I recently created

a birthday DVD combining 400 photos and 3 videos for my granddaughter’s 10th birthday,

and with this updated version it took half the time and for the first time I could use MP4

audio for the project. She loved it !! Great product and well worth the investment.

I recently purchased this product to replace my Photoshop and Premiere 7. I was having trouble with Windows 7 running my old one and was told that 8 would solve the problem. When I got the product I tried to load Elements and still to this day I have not been able to load successfully Premier Elements, if it does load it does not work, freezes my computer or just shuts down. Photoshop is working and doing what I want.

After several long afternoons with the boys in India – who were very good – My program will still not work. The compatibility window does not show it to be Windows 7 compatible, only Vista and XP with SP 3, no 64 bit. I have used Adobe products since 4 and have loved them, When I upgraded to 7 in 2008 it had problems and after a few updates got it going to where it was unexpectantly shutting down only occasionally. I learned to save very often or lose my project.

I love Adobe and these products to make DVD’s with music which I do of our vacations. I now have 4 sets of DVD’s ready to go but no way to publish. I am looking for a new product to take Adobe’s place.

Product does not do what I want, does not work with Windows 7, and support is lacking. Hard to get through their windows of help which are useless – they seem more interested in your evaluation of their help windows then problem.

As of right now I will not recommend this product – look else where. Adobe should have done better on this product then they did.

Don’t buy this buggy product unless you have a lot of time to play each video in the Organizer before using in a project. It cannot display thumbnails of high definition video files (AVCHD .mts) in Photoshop Organizer. Don’t bother calling Adobe tech support either as they have not helped me or many others who have posted this issue online.
